The main services and activities of the area are hosted in Aristotle Square, a landmark of Thrakomakedones. In 2003 the square was renovated and constructed on the basis of bioclimatic models for the pending 2004 Olympic Games. The site boasts green and strolling paths, an outdoor theatre, a playground as well as a restaurant - café.

On the periphery of the square, there is a small-scale shopping site housing a health centre, a chemist's and retail stores. In close proximity, there are: an additional chemist's, a mini market, a kiosk, a local bioproduct open-air weekly market as well as some restaurants and cafés. Moreover, there is the Town Hall, a KEP (Citizens' Service Centre), a Cultural Centre, a KAPI (Open Care Centre for the Elderly), a Sports Centre, a Police Station, a Post Office and some bank cash points (ATM).

In the vicinity of the locality in Thrakomakedones Avenue (Panorama-Acharnes area), there is a number of local stores such as food outlets, bakeries, diners, gift shops, hairdresser's, chemist's, veterinary and pet shops and suchlike. The State Services Headquarters are situated in Acharnes Municipality.

What is worth mentioning is that there is a Patrolling – Neighbourhood Guarding service run by the private company Tsekouras Secutity providing local dwellers with additional assistance with the aid of state-of-the-art technology. This results in a round-the-clock surveillance system notifying residents of any potential problems.

Finally, The Olympic Village Polyclinic is located at a distance of 3.8 km from Aristotle Square – Olympic Village entrance Γ (gamma).
